Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the BloodMedCare mobile application and related services (the "Service"), operated by VriddhiOne Pvt Ltd (the "Company", "we", "us"). By using BloodMedCare, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must have a valid Indian mobile number.
- You must use the Service only for lawful purposes.
2. What BloodMedCare is — and is not
BloodMedCare is a community matching platform. It connects people who need critical resources (blood, medicine, oxygen, etc.) with people willing to help, based on proximity and availability.
BloodMedCare is NOT:
- A medical service, hospital, clinic, or blood bank.
- A guarantee that any donor is medically eligible or that any resource is safe.
- A substitute for emergency services. In a life-threatening emergency, call 108 (India) or your nearest hospital.
3. User responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about yourself and your requests.
- Independently verify any donor, hospital, pharmacy, or resource before acting.
- Do not impersonate others, post false emergencies, or misuse the Service.
- Respect the privacy of other users. Contact information shared via the Service is for the matched emergency only.
4. Account and security
You are responsible for safeguarding your account and the mobile number associated with it. Notify us immediately at support@bloodmedcare.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Prohibited conduct
- Buying or selling blood, organs, or any human tissue. This is illegal under Indian law (Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Act, 1994) and grounds for immediate account termination plus legal action.
- Posting false emergencies.
- Harassing, threatening, or spamming other users.
- Scraping, reverse-engineering, or abusing the Service's APIs.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will always be available or error-free.
- Any donor will respond or be medically eligible.
- Information provided by users is accurate or verified.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VriddhiOne Pvt Ltd, its directors, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:
- Harm caused by donor, blood, medicine, or resource information obtained via the Service.
- Loss of life, health, or property arising from acting (or not acting) on information from the Service.
- Communications between users via in-app messaging or voice calls.
Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed ₹1,000 (one thousand Indian rupees) or the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, whichever is lower.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VriddhiOne Pvt Ltd from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violations of these Terms, abuse of the Service, or unlawful conduct. You may delete your account anytime via Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
10. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [city — to be confirmed in final v1], Maharashtra, India.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
